Contrary to popular perception, spraying weeds in the lawn has little, if any, effect on pollinators. It’s easy to point a finger at spraying but anyone who mows their lawn regularly (which is required by all city mandates) keeps the weeds low enough to never have a flowering head anyway. Tall weeds (grass land) and flowers are what pollinators like – Not decapitated dandelions 🙂 We obviously wouldn’t be very good at our jobs if we were in grasslands and flower beds spraying things 😀 We include blanket weed control applications for all the benefits that a healthy strand of turfgrass has on the environment without invasive weed oppression: http://lorettoturfsupply.com/blog/safety-myth-and-fact#h.vtx102j0i1m3
