What we’re noticing:

  • The season is about done; The climate and weather conditions have become much less dramatic. We’ve had a few regular rains (compared to the rest of the summer) and cooler, milder temperatures.

What we’re doing:

  1. We should be finishing up our Fall Winterizer applications this week and calling it a season. We’re putting down the ideal fertilizer now to help your lawn build its root system for next season.

What you can be doing:

  1. Water appropriately Water up until frost in the fall. Watering is especially important if you’ve had us do some seeding or you’ve seeded

  2. Mow shorter as we get to the end of the season and ensure there are no piles of leaves left on the lawn before the snow flies. Doing this will lessen the effects of snow mold or other winter kill.

3. Watch for our beautiful MN fall colors! Link
